Why do I still create art?
I've been creating for a long time, and the only thing I can say ... I have no idea, but the reasons are unimportant. It probably depends on many things. Depending on my mood on a given day, I could say that it's a decision for emotional reasons and easy way to express them in a visual way. Some other time I could say I work to understand the world or a narcissistic coping mechanism, for desire to be famous, therapy or as my religious discipline etc. To be honest often I did it for money, but that doesn't mean it is worse art, because creation is my profession and my passion.
Every reason is good and real. Anyway, the inner compulsion and internal imperative exists. If I didn’t create, I would feel really awful. I would not be myself. But the most important thing is that my work does not have to be anything other than drawings, paintings and fabrics. If you like it, but you do not know what to call, take it home, look after it like a pet, and call it. When you tame with it, my art, already yours, will return a favour you.
FEEL IT WITH HEART AND MIND
My textile arts are always mindful and contemplative, meaning that they manifest themselves quietly over time and they are usually received in a different ways by beholders, collectors and critics.
no matter what it might be, is not justification for existence of a fiber arts. Don’t wory if you cannot say what it is too. If your mind and heart feels it, it is the most import ant. Enjoy discovering its riches day after day.
WITH CARE FOR OUR WORLD
It would be great to use only traditional natural fibres like cotton, wool, and silk, but its not realistic. Temporarily we can not abuse our land to grow new material. We simply don't have the land / resources to grow enough of them. So todays Textil Artist should focus on the recykled fibers. Therefore, the fibers what I utilize in my work mostly came from recycled clothes. Only then the production of new things (including new works of art) is not senseless. It does not reduce the value of my work in any way.
"Her work is the perfect blend of minimalist style and richness of a subtle play of lights and shadows, quiet cold and soft tonal taint in a narrow range of colors. Each of Katarzyna's Fiber Art has its own playful interplay of lines. Diversity arrangements textures and pattern and Earth tone colours create a visual dialogue between the Our Earth and Us. The composition of the art of work is very minimalistic, in the layout and way of expression it refers to the Color Field Painting."
"Simplicity, functionality and minimalism. Comfort and cosiness in one word hygge"
"Extremely aesthetic. The artist also puts emphasis on the functionality of textile art and its cosiness. Especially Fiber Arts from the last collection dull and absorb sounds. They also help with reverbs that are a common problem in modern interior design."
I love to create abstract art, beceuse it is often the purest form to express the inexpressible for me. I synthesize anything that is insignificant, to the bare essentials that the art is most meaningful. My paintings are known for its simplicity and independence in style. I meditatively create simplicity, peace of mind, balance and single-minded focus. I hope that my Abstract Works are the essence of simplicity, near Minimalism.
My love for medieval art is especially evident in my Symbolic Fine Art. My works are deeply rooted in storytelling. I enjoy creating visual narratives; the fragments of stories set in imaginary landscapes. I often favour a cold palette with gold and silver as a main colour for its mysterious, dreamlike quality.
